And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. KJV
He was the only child of two old folks whom they had to wait for twenty five years to get. As he began to grow and they began to dote on him, God said to the father, 'Kill him and roast him for breakfast for me'.
Abraham must have wept internally through the journey.
- It was a journey with a mission he couldn't disclose to anyone.
- It was a journey of pain and sorrow of heart.
- It was a journey that challenged his convictions.
- It was the ultimate test of his faith in God!
There is a particular heart condition that will dare to believe and instantly obey what the Scripture says or what God commands. This is the heart that is sold out to God.
You cannot qualify for a covenant with God if your heart is not sold out to Him. You will sell out under pressure! It's time to do a heart check-up. Where is your heart?

PRAYERS: Father grant me the grace for urgent obedience to your commandments in Jesus name. Lord enable me to live above the cares that limit your hand in my life, Amen.
