2017 VOTD_25 - Covenants: Highway To Exemption 20

2017 Voice of The Day 25                                                                              Covenants: Highway To Exemption 20                                                         1Kings 3:3-4
And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. KJV
This scripture began with a profound expression: 'And Solomon loved the Lord'. This love drove him to walk right with God and led him to offer a thousand burnt offerings such as never been done before by anyone.

When God came to him in a dream, his heart condition made him seek after God's wisdom and not riches, long life or the lives of his enemies

God did not come to him physically in the daytime. He met him in a dream. However, despite his dream state, his heart was still right with God.

This means in both his consciousness and his subconsciousness, his heart was fixed on God. Most humanity will respond in a dual way. What you get in the conscious would most likely be different from what you will get in the subconscious

His heart for God moved God's heart towards him and he got a blessing that nobody before him ever had. Not only that, he got the extras and became the wealthiest king of his day.

A heart for God guarantees you space in God's heart and delivers you your place on the earth. If you are not a God lover, your place is not assured

PRAYERS: Father I want my assured place on earth and a guarantee of heaven, give me a heart that will serve you wholeheartedly in Jesus name. Lord, help me to make you my priority so that I can have my place in your heart, Amen.

I celebrate you
