2017 Voice of The Day 32 Covenants: Highway To Exemption 27 John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. KJV
Love is a very powerful emotion. Lovers do things that sometimes look irrational to please or defend their loved ones.
Some have fought, maimed or even killed for love before. Acid has been poured on real or perceived rivals out of love before.
Brothers have become enemies before; families have been broken before; people have left lucrative jobs before all because of love.
Love is given expression in giving. If you say you love and you don't give, you lie! That is why most popular malls and restaurants are overbooked when the world celebrates valentine.
The most extreme action for love is to kill. This was what God did when He commanded His son to lay down His life for our redemption. Love propelled Him to permit the killing of His one and only son.
He committed the first capital offense for love just for you and I while we were yet sinners.
Therefore, as you buy the cakes, flowers and gifts to celebrate Valentine's Day, give a thought to the truth of how our redemption was paid for and let it motivate you to share His love with humanity as you win souls for Christ.
There is no greater love than the love of Christ.

PRAYERS: Father, ignite your love in my heart and give me a passion for souls. Empower me oh Lord to be a committed witness of your love and grace, Amen.
I celebrate you
