2017 Voice of The Day 06 Covenants: Highway To Exemption 1 Psalms 50:5
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. KJV
Prophecies don't just work. We have to do warfare with them so they can be called into manifestation. The prophecy you don't war with won't work for you. In 1st Timothy 1:18, Paul admonished Timothy his spiritual son on the need to do a good warfare with the prophecies spoken forth upon his life.
Promises are built on Trust but Covenants are built on Oaths.
Trust can be abused or broken and has been broken severally without significant consequences. Sometimes the word 'sorry' is all that is required to repair a broken trust. Other times, it's the only expression the offender offers in a 'Take it or Go to hell' manner
On the other hand, Covenants founded on oaths are very difficult to break. The cost is usually very high. In some instances, the cost can be the life of the offender. This means Promises can be broken and so get broken with minimal consequences but not Covenants because of the oath foundation. When God cuts a covenant with a man, such an individual enters trans-generational dimension of blessing.
