2017 Voice of The Day 12 Covenants: Highway To Exemption 7 Genesis 22:3
And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. KJV
This big question should occupy our hearts as we progress into 2017.
Today, we sing and covet Abraham's blessings but many of us cannot go on Abraham's journey of faith and sacrifice. We would have found a way out of obeying the instruction from God. If Abraham wanted to escape obeying God, all He would have needed to do was to seek for advice.
No sane family member, friend or Neighbour would have supported his 'insane' action. Sarah definitely would have had the entire community up on him.
Abraham did not seek any advice. He went on to do God's will regardless.
The question is; if we were Abraham, how many of us would have risen very early in the morning to obey such an instruction from a God they cannot see physically?
Ponder on these things if you desire an exemption from the pressure destined upon the world. May the Lord ignite the Fire of passion for obedience in our heart

PRAYERS: Father give me a new heart that will be quick to obey you. Help me to walk the walk of faith with absolute trust in you in Jesus name.
