2017 Voice of The Day 15                                                                              Covenants: Highway To Exemption 10                                                                  Psalms 102:13-14 

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. KJV

We often make mistakes when we say there is nothing God cannot do. This is wrong and not supported by Scripture. There are loads of things God cannot and will not do.

• God will not cut a covenant with loafers. No lazy man has a future in the kingdom. When it comes to the things of God, He honours diligence.
• God will not cut a covenant with lukewarm Christians. You must pitch your tent somewhere. You are either hot or you are cold. There is no midpoint. God needs to know where you stand.
• God will not make you a primary concern if you make Him secondary in your priorities. How passionate you are about His kingdom will determine how much of His grace you enjoy. There is no short cut!
• God cannot make you the head if you make Him the tail in your affairs. If you have a heart for Him, you will make out time for Him. Every man finds time for who or what he loves.

A covenant practitioner will always find time for God. You should!

This understanding will help us make the best of our Christian journey and walk in ceaseless flow of grace in 2017 with proofs.
