Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. KJV
One powerful lesson in the trial of Abraham is the fact that it was all a test. God never intended to have Isaac killed. All He was interested in was to identify where Abraham's love and heart is.
The fact that Abraham was oblivious of the truth that it was a test allowed God to evaluate his reaction without any influence whatsoeverTherefore, when He saw Abraham pass the test, God could not hold Himself back. He swore an oath and established a covenant with Abraham. We are proofs that the covenant is speaking even till today
Today, we sing and covet Abraham's blessings but many of us cannot go on Abraham's journey of sacrifice. That is why no matter what the nation of Israel does today, the covenant will preserve them. Even when they provoke God to wrath and He fights them, He will always leave a remnant to continue the propagation of the nation
This means the covenant of Abraham is still speaking for them even now. Which covenant will speak for you, your children and grand children?
